The socialite as enlisted the Good Charlotte star to help her pen a theme tune for her upcoming reality TV show ‘My New BFF’, which features Paris auditioning for a new person to go shopping with. She tells People website, “Benji and I have been working hard on it. He's helping me write the lyrics for the song and then I'll sing it, too." And if that wasn’t enough, Paris says she’ll definitely be releasing another full LP in the future. “I just don't know when yet,” she explains. “I only have the summer off, then I'll be taping another season of BFF. But an album is something I'll do." *** June 24, 2008: "Paris Hilton is Sick of Rumors" According to Paris Hilton's MySpace blog, Paris Hilton denies puppy tale: Sick of Rumors Current mood: annoyed Hi guys, hope you all had a great weekend! I just shot the finale for my BFF show and I can't wait for you all to see it...I'll let you all know when it premieres, it's going to be amazing and everyone did such an incredible job. I wanted to let you know that I've been getting messages and reading stories about an incident that supposedly happened with me and a pet store: I was catching up on news last week only to read a story about me walking by some puppies for sale, and demanding that I be given a Yorkie puppy to be an accessory for a photo shoot. These stories have gotten out of control and I want to clear some things up- I wasn't looking for a new pet, I wasn't even at a photo shoot that day, (I was down the street at Benji's DCMA clothing store) and I actually have a Yorkie puppy. I love animals and the cruel things people say are not acceptable. Puppies are not accessories or toys and I love my own pets dearly--I treat them as if they were my children. Of course I support pet adoption from shelters, and I made sure that my BFF show involved a local one to spread the word about how these animals need loving owners. So it is sad that someone felt the need to invent a story about me throwing a fit for a dog that would "go with my outfit." I have no idea where people come up with these stories and they are spreading to so many news outlets that I just have to speak my mind and clear things up, especially with my fans. I love you all and appreciate your messages, as always. Paris Hilton was rumored to be tying the knot at the same time as Nicole and her fiance Joel Madden, Benji's twin brother, but insists she wouldn't want to share the spotlight on her big day. Paris Hilton said: "I've been hearing that rumor. But no, I think we both would want to have separate weddings." Paris Hilton added she is finding life "pretty perfect", being in a foursome with Benji, Joel and Nicole. She told Ryan Seacrest on entertainment network E!: "It is weird - we're dating twins but it's pretty perfect. We are all going on tour this summer, so I'm really excited about that." *** June 18, 2008: "Paris Hilton Goes "Ballistic" After Being Refused To Buy Puppy" Paris Hilton went "ballistic" when a shop worker refused to sell her a puppy. Paris Hilton was on her way to a photo shoot when she called in at The Puppy Store on Los Angeles' Melrose Avenue and tried to buy a Yorkshire Terrier. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Paris wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter. She tried to buy a Yorkie but the employee refused to sell it to her, saying it was clearly an impulse buy." "Paris went ballistic and started screaming, 'I love my puppies! I want my baby!' However, they still wouldn't sell her the animal." The store had no comment on the incident. *** June 9, 2008: "Paris Hilton Not Pregnant" Paris Hilton has stated that she is not pregnant. For the last few days rumors have been circulating that Paris Hilton was expecting a baby with boyfriend Benji Madden, but she has stated that this could not be further from the truth. According to reports, a green dress that Paris Hilton was seen wearing made it appear that she had a baby bump. A rep for Paris Hilton has also denied the pregnancy allegations. *** June 6, 2008: "Paris Hilton Rumored To Have Baby Bump" Paris Hilton has sparked pregnancy rumors. Paris Hilton seemed to be sporting a swollen stomach as she arrived at Los Angeles' Crown Bar in a tight green satin dress recently. An onlooker said: "Paris definitely looked a lot bigger than she usually looks. She is either pregnant or had eaten a massive meal!" Although Paris Hilton said she would love to have a baby, but her spokesperson has denied the pregnancy rumors, saying they are "false". *** May 22, 2008: "Paris Hilton Hopes To Have Baby In 2009" Paris Hilton has set herself a baby deadline: She wants to start a family with boyfriend Benji Madden in 2009. Of her foray into the beauty product line, Paris commented, “I’ve been wearing hair extensions for years and have tried other products that didn’t work. When I started using DreamCatchers from my line I started using the best quality and styles. Paris Hilton is a capable guardian - because she has raised a menagerie of pets, including a ferret, a chinchilla, a kinkajou and over a dozen dogs. Paris Hilton says: "I have lots of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel I would have a lot to give my children." *** May 13, 2008: "Paris Hilton Stops By The Late Show" Paris Hilton has been hanging out in New York City to promote her new line of hair extensions. And yesterday Paris Hilton and boyfriend Benji Madden stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman. Paris Hilton was having a great time mingling outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre signing autographs and posing for pictures. Earlier in the day, Paris Hilton was hounded with questions when she wore a new two-banded diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger. But it turns out it wasn’t that kind of ring. Paris Hilton told press, “No, it’s just a present. He’s sweet. We want to stay together forever.” Hilton said, “I wouldn’t do a Vegas [wedding]. "Everyone is hoping he'll wake up soon and dump her." *** April 25, 2008: "Paris Hilton Involved in Hit and Run" Paris Hilton and Benji Madden's car ran over a paparazzo’s foot last night as they were leaving a nightclub. TMZ has the video covering the scene. You can hear a paparazzi screaming as Benji allegedly runs over his foot. After the rollover, Madden checked out the situation and left. The photographer has reported a hit and run with Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department in West Hollywood. *** April 23, 2008: "Paris Hilton Banned From Hyatt Hotels Moscow" Paris Hilton has been blacklisted from another hotel's guest list, she has been banned in Hyatt hotel's Moscow branch after she vandalized her suite. Hilton, 27, had scribbled "Paris Moscow 2008" in black marker in the hotel's $16,000 a night presidential suite during her photo shoot stay in the city. And as for that, Hyatt bosses had fined her $9,000 and have promptly blacklisted her name. A spokesman said, "Miss Hilton ruined the wallpaper in the luxury suite. The 27-year-old has vowed never to undergo breast enlargement surgery, as she doesn't like the appearance of a larger bust. She tells New York magazine, "I like how mine are, I don't like big boobs." And Hilton uses pop star/actress Jessica Simpson as an example, declaring the singer's more prominent chest to be unattractive. After Paris was asked about which butt she would swap with, she insisted that she'd never swap butts with former Playboy pin-up, saying that Kardashian's best asset to "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag," and adding, "It's gross." But Paris Hilton had to apologize after a blogger got hold of the transcript from the radio interview and posted it on his blog on Monday. Paris - who promised 'Mahiki Madness' on the invitations to her special evening - performed a steamy dance for Benji before the pair left at around 3am. A hotel spy tells the NY Daily News: "Every time Paris saw something she liked, like a woman's dress, she would ask how much it was. That included a cheetah she saw at an animal park. She asked how much it was and said, 'If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?'" Is she asking for real? I really hope she is just kidding...! *** April 8, 2008: "Paris Hilton WLaunches Her Own Shoe Range" Paris Hilton is launching her own range of footwear. She wears size 11 (UK 9). Paris was in Montreal over the weekend where she met fans as she showed off her new range of shoes at several stores. Whilst at Browns Shoes store Paris said, “I’m so excited to be in Montreal again, I love Canada. “It’s an honour to have my shoe line here. I’m very excited and I’m excited to see all my fans, I saw there’s so many people outside.” *** April 8, 2008: "Paris Hilton Wants A Baby" Paris Hilton is reportedly desperate to have a baby. Paris, who is currently on the road with her Good Charlotte rocker boyfriend Benji Madden, wants to emulate her best friend Nicole Richie and settle down and start a family. Nicole Richie is said to be ‘furious’ at Paris for trying to “copy” her life. A source said, “Nicole was already upset when Paris started dating Benji, it all happened too fast for her liking. Then Nicole couldn’t go on tour with them because she had to stay home and look after her young daughter Harlow. “She is furious Paris is out there gallivanting with her boyfriend and his brother. According to the study made by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, 70% of the U.S. population would describe the 27-year-old "Simple Life" star "overexposed." Last year's number one, Britney Spears, is still headlining tabloids and gossip sites at 67% for her "questionable behavior" while Hilton's nemesis Lindsay Lohan's rehab stint and party-girl image have given her the third spot. The petition to Governor Schwarzenegger was created and organized on May 5, 2007 by Joshua Morales, a loyal fan of Ms. Hilton's who was upset by the sentence that Paris received from Judge Michael Sauer the day before. In response, various opponents started a petition to maintain the sentence. Both petitions attracted tens of thousands of signatures. Hilton later switched lawyers, and dropped her plans to appeal. Jail sentence: Hilton was required to begin her jail term on June 5, 2007, or risk a doubling of her sentence. On June 3, 2007, after attending the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, Hilton checked herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility, an all female jail in Lynwood, California, at 11:38 pm PDT. From there, Hilton was transferred by authorities to a special section "reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates" Hilton was given the inmate booking number 9818783. With credit for good behavior, it was anticipated that Hilton would only serve 23 days of her 45-day sentence. Early release: In an unexpected turn of events, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca signed orders on the morning of June 7, reassigning Hilton to 40 days of home confinement with an electronic monitoring device due to an unspecified medical condition. Sheriff Baca commented on the release saying, "My message to those who don't like celebrities is that punishing celebrities more than the average American is not justice." According to Baca, under normal circumstances, Hilton would not have served any time in jail, and he added that "The special treatment, in a sense, appears to be because of her celebrity status ... She got more time in jail". However this is contradicted by an analysis performed by the LA Times, which concluded that had she been let out after 4 days, she would have served the same amount of time as 60% of inmates with a similar criminal history. The LA Times article concludes that the actual time Hilton served means her punishment exceeded that of 80% of people in similar situations. Return to jail: The same day Hilton was released from jail, Judge Michael Sauer ordered Hilton to reappear back in his court the following morning (June 8) as the sentencing statement had explicitly said she would serve time in jail with "No work furlough. No work release. No electronic monitoring". The judge also said that he was informed that the sheriff intended to release Hilton but that the judge had not agreed to it, instead reaffirming her original sentence. At the hearing he declined to be briefed by Hilton's attorney in private chambers on the nature of her condition and sent her back to jail to serve out her original 45-day sentence. Upon hearing the sentence, Hilton shouted, "It's not right!" and started screaming requesting to hug her mother, who was present in the courtroom. She was then escorted out. Concern about Hilton's condition led to her being moved to the medical wing of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. On June 13 Hilton was moved back to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood due to improvements in her condition. (Hilton in an interview from jail claimed she suffered from claustrophobia although an unidentified "Paris insider" claims it was "toilet-phobia") On June 9, 2007 prison minister Marty Angelo petitioned sentencing Judge Michael Sauer asking to serve out the remainder of Hilton's jail sentence if the judge would release her to an alternative treatment program. Angelo's petition fell on deaf ears. Angelo posted an "Open Letter to Paris Hilton" on his website. Hilton referred to starting a "new beginning" during her interview with talk show host, Larry King on June 28, 2007, two days after being released from jail. Angelo's autobiography is entitled, "Once Life Matters: A New Beginning" which he shipped to Hilton through her attorney, Richard A. Hutton on May 23, 2007 before her Los Angeles County Jail incarceration. Hilton quoted directly from one of the book's pages (#178) during the interview when she used Angelo's 'prison motto' advice: "Don't serve the time, let the time serve you." Hilton stated, "I did that and that really helped." Second release: Hilton was released from jail at 12:15am PDT on June 26, 2007. In total, Hilton served 22 days in detention, counting her day-long home confinement. When she walked out of jail, she was met by a contingent of paparazzi and camera crews. In popular culture: While Hilton has been quoted as saying that she is the "iconic blonde of the decade"' and comparing herself to Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe (a claim she later denied in the May 2007 issue of Harper's Bazaar), she will reportedly appear in the 2007 Guinness World Records as the world's "Most Overrated Celebrity". In a poll conducted by the Associated Press and AOL, Hilton was voted the second "Worst Celebrity Role Model of 2006", behind Britney Spears. Critics have alleged that Hilton epitomizes the title of famous for being famous; echoing that sentiment, the Associated Press conducted what they called an experiment in late February 2007, trying not to report on Hilton for a whole week. On May 11, 2007, a statue by Daniel Edwards entitled Paris Hilton Autopsy was revealed at Capla Kesting Fine Art in New York. Hilton is depicted by a clay model as dead, naked, and with her legs spread.
