August 27, 2008: "Kelly Osbourne Sporting A Huge Black Eye After A Cupboard Fell On Her Face"
Kelly Osbourne is sporting a huge black eye after a cupboard fell on her.
The radio presenter was seen with a bruise around her eye and a large white bandage covering a gash on her face Tuesday.
The incident happened when Kelly returned to London from the U.K.'s Reading music festival, after contracting a stomach bug.
A friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kelly had already called in sick to work for Radio One on Sunday because she was doubled over with bad stomach pains."
"When she got home she reached up to get a glass of water from the cupboard to have a drink when the entire thing fell off the wall and smashed into her face."
"Kelly had blood pouring out of a lump in her head, while black and blue swelling started almost straight away around her eyes."
Kelly, 23, was forced to cut short her trip to the Reading festival soon after arriving on Friday as she taken ill.
Fortunately boyfriend, male model Luke Worrell, has been on hand to comfort her.
The source added: "Luke made sure she is OK. All she needs is some TLC and she'll be back at work and out clubbing in no time."
Kelly Osbourne biography (bio):
She is the daughter of metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne.
Her debut album, Shut Up!, was released in 2002 to moderate sales, fueled mostly by a cover version of the hit Madonna song Papa Don't Preach, which was debuted with Houston rock band Pure Rubbish at the 2002 MTV Movie Awards. Osbourne's 2002 Epic debut, "Shut Up!", debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The album was met with bad critical reviews also failing to spark much interest, and by May 2003, Osbourne had been dropped from Epic. However, by autumn she had resurfaced on the Sanctuary label, later recording a duet of "Changes", a Black Sabbath song, with her father. The duet hit #1 on the UK charts, a first for both father and daughter. Shut Up! was repackaged with this duet and a few live cuts and re-released as Changes. Sales did not improve, however.
Osbourne's second album, Sleeping in the Nothing, debuted at #117 on the Billboard Top 200, selling just under 9,000 copies. The album sees Osbourne make a transition from rock to 80s dance-pop and was co-written and produced by legendary songwriter/former popstar, Linda Perry. The first single from the album, "One Word", peaked at #1 on three Billboard dance charts. Osbourne became the first artist in the history of the Billboard charts to top all three dance surveys in the same week. However, the album was not without controversy, due to its heavily altered album cover, in which she appeared slimmer. The image, which graced the album cover and most of its promotional material, angered many fans due to her previous reiterations of being happy with her size, and not wanting to change for anyone.
During an interview in late 2005, Osbourne denied reports she is ending her music career, and is said to be working on a new album. Osbourne was quoted as saying: "I don't know where the quit rumours came from - I've just recorded a version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with Cyndi Lauper."
In 2007 Kelly signed to BBC Radio 1 to host the Sunday night teen show, Radio 1's Surgery and on Sunday 7th October 2007 she went on air for the first time with the issue of self harm.

Body & Soul Charity Event:
At a charity event for HIV support in February, 2007, Kelly revealed to the audience that the event was special to her because one of her family members had been diagnosed as HIV positive. While introducing the band Scissor Sisters at an event for Body & Soul, Kelly made the announcement but did not elaborate as to whom she was referring.
It was later revealed that it is her cousin (from Ozzy's side of the family), Terry Longden, from the reality series The Salon, who is HIV positive. Terry was present at the event standing at the curtain backstage.
In 2004, Kelly Osbourne launched her own fashion line, Stiletto Killers, with friend Ali Barone. Stiletto Killers was a rock-inspired line of tees, knickers, hoodies, and sweatpants designed by Osbourne and Barone, emblazoned with cartoonish designs and punk rock phrases. There was also a more sophisticated couture branch, The SK Collection. Stiletto Killers closed in April 2006 and Barone has since launched a line called Lipstick Prophets.
In 2006 Osbourne became the face of the high street chain Accessorize in a campaign which was seen across Europe, Canada, Russia, Australia, Brazil, South Africa and the Middle East.
In spring 2006, Osbourne modelled for Heatherette in a Catwalk show which also featured Naomi Campbell.
Osbourne can currently be seen as one of the new faces of the British high street chain Woolworths' Worthit! campaign.
In May 2006, at the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland, Kelly and her boyfriend, Matty Derham of the band Fields, took part in a wedding ceremony in an inflatable church on site. Her representative denied that the ceremony was legally binding as Irish marriages can only be performed either by validly-ordained church people or by civil registrars who are HSE employees. Marriages can also only take place normally in churches or register offices, and where all legal requirements such as the three months' notice were met. However in the days following Electric Picnic, Osbourne and boyfriend were spotted buying gold bands in Fields jewellers on Grafton Street Dublin.
Osbourne is the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and has two full siblings: Aimee Osbourne and Jack Osbourne, and two half-siblings: Jessica Hobbs and Louis John Osbourne, Ozzy's children from his first marriage and Robert Marcato, adopted by Sharon and Ozzy after his mother died.
Kelly sports many tattoos all over her body, including a skull-and-crossbones design on both feet, small angel wings on her back, an outlined star on the back of her neck, a tiny pink heart on her hip, a ship's anchor on the back of her left forearm, a tiny pink heart on her little finger (the same as The Used's singer Bert McCracken, who dated Kelly), a padlock and key with the word 'Daddy' above it, a musical keyboard on the back of her right forearm, and the name of her brother, Jack, on her wrist. (Jack also sports a matching 'Kelly' tattoo on his wrist)
After getting media attention for her part on The Osbournes, Kelly began speaking out against pop singer Christina Aguilera. On several occasions, Kelly had called Christina such things as a 'slut' 'whore' and 'bitch'. On one episode of 'The Osbournes' while sitting at her family's dining room table Kelly mimicked Aguilera's "overexaggerated" vocals from a Christmas album. Osbourne even got into a fight with her brother Jack for speaking to Aguilera at a club. While it's still unknown why Kelly developed such a hatred for Christina (it was rumored to be jealousy), things came to a boiling point at the 2003 MTV Europe Awards. Osbourne, attending the event which was being hosted by Aguilera, called her a 'fat cow' on the red carpet when she was being interviewed by MTV. Things went further, and for the first time ever, Aguilera responded to Osbourne. In a pre-taped skit used as the introduction to the program, Aguilera is seen throwing darts at a poster of Kelly right before she gets ready to host the event. Osbourne, upset at the skit, later retaliated on stage while presenting an award. Osbourne commented that she feels honored to have Aguilera sink so low after all she has achieved. The audience took Aguilera's side and booed Kelly after she made her comment. Aguilera then responded a few minutes later by calling Osbourne "a little girl who can't handle a rebuttal".
On 19th September Kelly appeared on The New Paul O' Grady Show. She is well known for accidentally swearing twice on the show. She also attempted to beat the world record for the most jelly eaten with chopsticks in a minute.
