August 28, 2008: "Jack Black Replaces His Addiction With Smoking With Green Tea"
Jack Black is addicted to green tea after quitting smoking. The "Tropic Thunder" star admits he has replaced his nicotine habit with a new vice.
He said: "I don't do anything exciting or dangerous really. I quit smoking, that was my last real vice. But I do like iced green tea - but that is so boring."
Jack also revealed he can't stop playing video games.
He added: "I really like playing 'Grand Theft Auto IV.' It's one of these games that takes 100 hours to conquer."
Jack recently admitted he wants to produce his own flatulence for his film roles, after playing a character who can pass wind on command in "Tropic Thunder."
He said: "I didn't do any of my own stunts in the fart department, it was all with the help of computers. They don't have the technology to place the microphones in the inner canal of my inner cavity at this point. Someday soon I hope they'll have the science and it will catch up to my flatulent talent."
August 11, 2008: "Jack Black Thinks His Newborn Son Looks Like A Baby Squid"
Jack Black thinks his 10-week-old son Thomas David looks like a baby squid.
The "Kung Fu Panda" star compared his 10-week-old son Thomas David to the tentacled sea creature, insisting they share several physical attributes.
He explained: "Thomas has got no muscles, he's just sort flopping around. His skin's got this new baby sheen and he's just squishy and soft and squid-ey."
Jack also says his two-year-old son Samuel is jealous of the family's new arrival.
He said: "Samuel doesn't like seeing mommy feeding the new one - it makes him freak out a little bit."
The "Nacho Libre" star revealed Samuel enjoys pretending to be a superhero.
He added to U.S. TV talk show host Jay Leno: "He loves to wear his cape and run around the house and pretends he has super blowing power to make people go away."

The 'Kung Fu Panda' actor admits he is not keen on promoting the work he is ashamed of. He said: "You don't just do something to do it. When you do a good movie you feel good at promoting it."
"When it's a bad movie you want to release it quietly. You try to keep it a secret like an STD."
However, Jack is not embarrassed by 'Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny' despite it being a major flop at the box office.
He said: "I really liked the 'Tenacious D' movie. I was proud of that one."
Jack Black recently revealed he wants to lose weight so he can appear in more nude scenes.
He said: "When I saw my rear end in my nude scene in 'Margot at the Wedding', it actually had a double chin. I've joined a gym because the next time you see me naked I'll be trim."

Jack Black said: "I also put Coco Pops in my butt. Why? For comedy and experiment. I was a scientist and I discovered you could put a lot of them up your butt."
Jack Black, recently revealed he is desperate to lose weight so he can star in more nude scenes.

Comedian Jack Black has led the media into believing he calls his newborn son Jack when in fact, his second son is named Thomas.
Jack Black told the media at the Cannes Film Festival in France last week that he calls his new child Jack but now, he admits that he forgot to reveal that his real name is Thomas Jack Black and that they call the baby Thomas.
Jack Black clarifies, "I said I named the baby after me. I didn't say that my actual name is Thomas."

Jack Black is an American actor, comedian and musician.
Jack Black's acting career began with primetime TV. Jack Black played roles on several shows such as: The Golden Palace, Life Goes On, The X-Files, Northern Exposure, HBO's Mr. Show and Picket Fences. Black later took on small roles in Airborne, Demolition Man, The Cable Guy, Bob Roberts, Mars Attacks!, Waterworld, The Jackal, Bye Bye Love, Jesus' Son, Dead Man Walking, Enemy of the State, and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
His career soon led to leading roles in films such as Shallow Hal, Orange County, School of Rock, Envy, Be Kind Rewind and King Kong. Black starred in two films in 2006: Nacho Libre.
Jack Black starred alongside Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Winslet in The Holiday, in which he played Miles.
