A memorabilia site would be auctioning a piece of the pop princess' Mouseketeer past starting on July 21. GottaHaveIt website will be having a special online auction entitled "The Rock & Roll Pop Art Auction" from July 21 to August 6, which will feature original handwritten lyrics and letters and other rare items by the music industry's greatest living and dead legends. Other items on the auction include memorabilia from Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Johnny Cash among others. *** July 1, 2008: "Britney Spears Seeks Quiet Home for Her Kids" Britney Spears wants to move from her L.A. house to “a lower density, more quiet and less trafficked neighborhood,” according to a court document filed by her co-conservators, father Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet. The singer would like a home “more accessible to parks and recreation areas” for her children, Sean Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden James, 1 1/2, the document says. Saturday night was the first time Sean and Jayden spent an overnight visit with Spears, 26, since she was hospitalized at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in January. The sale of her L.A. home would be in “the best interest of [Spears], her Estate and her minor children,” the document says. Earlier this month, Spears was granted permission to sell the six-bedroom home. At the time, mom Lynne told the court that her daughter “intends to return to Louisiana,” her home state. Who knows?" *** June 30, 2008: "Britney Spears & Kevin Federline Face Off In Court Again Monday, June 30" Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline were in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday for a child custody hearing. This comes as Britney Spears continues to try and get more visitation time with her sons. The child custody case has been going on for months now between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, as they struggle over their two young sons. The case began at 12:45 p.m. ET following a meeting between Federline’s lawyer, Britney Spears’ lawyer, and Commissioner Scott Gordon. The Los Angeles court, at the end of the hearing, ruled for changes in Britney’s visitation with her sons. The new terms have not yet been revealed, but it seems that Britney Spears did well. Another hearing was set for July 15th. The visitation status for Spears has changed, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet according to People website. *** June 25, 2008: "Britney Spears Granted Overnight Visits" Britney Spears attended a hearing with ex-husband Kevin Federline yesterday- during which Britney was granted overnight visitation with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. As Britney Spears left the courthouse witnesses say she looked very happy, with a genuine smile on her face. After the courtroom victory, Britney was spotted out on a trip to West Hollywood’s Fred Segal for a little afternoon shopping. Britney Spears lost custody of the children in October, and had all rights to see them withdrawn following her alleged breakdown in January. *** June 20, 2008: "Britney Spears in Kentwood To Visit Her New Niece" Following a hectic day in which she welcomed a niece into the world, Britney Spears was spotted out at a convenience store near her home in Kentwood, Louisiana on Thursday (June 19). Britney Spears, her father, Jamie, her older brother Bryan and her assistant Brett all took a commercial flight out of LAX in the morning, arriving in New Orleans Wednesday afternoon. After landing, the Spears group headed to the Spears family Serenity mansion in Kentwood. Jamie Lynn, 17, is expected to give birth any day. *** June 17, 2008: "Britney Spears Not Charged for Running Over Pap’s Foot" A paparazzi photographer who pressed charges against Britney Spears after her car allegedly ran over his foot had only himself blame for any injury it may have caused, prosecutors said in refusing to pursue the case. After reviewing police records and a videotape of the incident last year, Deputy District Attorney Joseph D. Shidler wrote Friday that the “only way the victim’s foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location.” The photographer, who was not identified in the report, filed a criminal complaint against Britney Spears in early May. The report also describes a chaotic scene surrounding Britney Spears, with photographers on all sides of her car and “a lot of noise and confusion” and says Spears was “driving at an extremely slow rate of speed and in a straight path.” *** June 12, 2008: "Britney Spears Meets With Mel Gibson At Cigar Club" Britney Spears was spotted heading over to the House of Cigars to meet up with her unlikely pal Mel Gibson to grab some dinner and catch up. A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Britney is fascinated with Marilyn and visits her grave often. Since she's been getting her life together she's been reading about the star and recently has been glued to a book about the actress." "She's fascinated that Marilyn asked her favorite make-up artist to make her look beautiful after she died and picked her own burial plot. "She told her aides, 'I'm going to live so I want to be brought to the Forever Cemetery when I'm 101.'" *** June 5, 2008: "Britney Spears To Star in Pussycat Dolls Video" Britney Spears will make a cameo appearance in the new Pussycat Dolls video, say reports. Britney Spears has apparently agreed to star in the girl group's promo for new single 'When I Grow Up'. "She is doing a cameo in their new video shoot today," a source told Metro. Britney Spears was spotted at Burbank, LA, the location of the group's video shoot, yesterday. *** June 3, 2008: "Britney Spears Stubs Out Pregnancy Rumors" Rumors that Britney Spears is pregnant have been stubbed out, literally, after Britney Spears was photographed indulging on a cigarette. Britney Spears has been the target of baby rumors after being snapped on numerous occasions with a round tummy. However, the singer ended speculation after she was snapped puffing on a cigarette. Britney Spears has also been enjoying vigorous sessions at her gym. *** May 23, 2008: "Britney Spears' Dad Compensation" Britney Spears' father has demanded compensation from his daughter. A court has ruled that Britney Spears must hand over $10,000 to father Jamie - as compensation for lost earnings after he quit his job to look after her. This week an L.A. court approved his application for $2,600 a week for loss of earnings in February. The court papers stated: "As a result of the responsibilities Mr Spears has assumed as Temporary Conservator of the Person and Temporary Co-Conservator of the Estate, he has been unable to continue his prior employment." *** May 21, 2008: "Britney Spears' New Sex Tape" A new Britney Spears sex tape is set to be released. The footage allegedly features ritney Spears stripping off naked apart from a pink wig, and romping with ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. The paparazzi photographer is reportedly trying to sell the full two-hour version, which is said to contain twenty minutes of full sex after a long session of foreplay, to the highest bidder. A source said: "The video starts with Britney undressing. She was wearing some cheap clothes. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout. "At one point in the tape Adnan asks Britney to remove the pink wig but she refuses, saying 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.' " The sex tape was supposedly shot while the couple holidayed in Mexico in January. *** May 15, 2008: "Britney Spears, Mel Gibson Vacationing in Costa Rica" Britney Spears and father Jamie are currently en-route to Costa Rice, where they will spend “a few days” relaxing with Hollywood superstar, Mel Gibson, and his wife, at the What Women Want star’s holiday home. “They’re just going away for a few days to relax,” a source said. According to the source, Gibson and Britney Spears’ new-found friendship has little to do with the fact that they used to be neighbors, and more because of what the young pop star went through at the hands of the press during her various stints in a mental asylum earlier in the year. “Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible,” the source explained. “There are no expectations, there is no agenda,” added the source. “It’s simply an act of human kindness.” *** May 14, 2008: "Britney Spears Rear Ends SUV" Britney Spears just rear-ended a car on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Britney Spears hit a red Ford Explorer, driven by a lady. No injuries, Britney Spears didn't even get out of the car. Her bodyguard got out and talked to the other woman. The red Explorer Britney Spears hit is now following her back to Britney's home. Britney Spears was stopped at a light and, for some reason, accelerated when the light was still red, hitting the Explorer stopped in front of her, causing minor damage. *** May 8, 2008: "Britney Spears Getting More Time With Sons" Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline were in court yesterday (06.05.08) for the latest hearing in their ongoing custody battle. Although it was not made clear how Britney's visitation rights have increased, Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan said it was an "expansion of time", and went on to praise the troubled singer's progress. He said: "It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless. "We are seeing signs of her progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin. "The children are doing great." *** May 5, 2008: "Britney Spears Returns To LA" Britney Spears boarded a private jet with her mother, and father, Jamie, at a private airport in Mississippi on Sunday, May 4, to return to LA, after attending a baby shower for her pregnant 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn on Saturday. The Shower at the Spears’ family home was a catered ladies only event at which around 30 guests were invited, including Jamie Lynn’s fiancé Casey Aldridge’s mother, reports People. “Jamie Lynn opened every gift,” a source said. “We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old fashioned baby shower.” *** April 25, 2008: "Britney Spears Owes Taxes" Britney Spears has been dragged into yet another financial mess - one of her brand companies owes more than $23,000 in taxes for earnings dating back four years. A document shows that Britney Online Inc., one of Britney Spears' numerous name-brand companies, owes $23,589.17 in California state taxes on the entity's 2004 earnings. A warning from the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California states that "further interest and fees will accrue" if the sum is not paid. *** April 20, 2008: "Britney Spears Return Appearance On How I Met Your Mother" Britney Spears is set to make a return appearance on How I Met Your Mother. A source said, “The show is ecstatic and so is Britney. She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.” Britney is expected do one episode, although Fox studios have not confirmed her appearance. *** April 17, 2008: "Britney Spears Back In The Recording Studio" Britney Spears finally got back to studio after not going there for over a year! It looks like Britney is trying to get back on track... Her manager Larry Rudolph said she went there only for fun, nothing more, "We went into the studio, but it was just for fun – nothing more,". A source adds: "She just wanted to go in and tinker around. She sat at a piano and got some ideas. She played the piano and sang a bit. She enjoyed herself." The insider explained that Britney, "wanted to go in as a way to get her creativity going. It was a really positive experience for her." *** April 18, 2008: "Britney Spears Still Dating Adnan Ghalib" Britney Spears’ on/off relationship with photographer Adnan Ghalib is very much back on – according to Kathy Griffin. The star of My Life on the D-List – who recently accompanied the British paparazzo on a trip to a Victoria's Secret store for a future episode of her reality show – dishes on the couple’s continued relationship to a U.S. magazine. “As far as I know, Britney is still attracted to him,” she tells In Touch. She adds that she was "shocked" by “the astonishing number of calls Adnan took from a ‘private caller’ whose name rhymes with Prlitney Splears” during their L.A. shopping jaunt. It was reported that Britney ditched Adnan in March after finding incriminating texts on his mobile phone. They have not been seen in public together since the singer's father, Jamie Spears, gained control of her affairs earlier this year. *** April 16, 2008: "Britney Spears Falling Back In Love With K-Fed" In a surprising move, Britney Spears surprised everyone when she issued and apology to those she hurt when she spiraled out of control. The special thing about this apology was that it contained one special message to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. "Britney is taking steps to rectify all the wrongs she has done in her life," a family insider revealed to the magazine. "She's trying to clean up the wreckage of her past and reconciling with Kevin is a big part of that." In an eight-page letter to K-Fed detailing her transgressions, Britney purportedly admits her shortcomings as a wife and mother, explains how she wants to "move on to a healthier life" and even professes her love to the wannabe rapper. "Since their face-to-face meeting on Easter, Britney has started confessing to Kevin how she feels about him," Star's insider said. "She says, ‘I love you,' and she really seems to mean it." The source assured that everything is looking up for the troubled pop star. "She's really doing so much better. Britney said she's finally dealing with the issues that she was ignoring for so long and is getting over her anger." *** April 14, 2008: "Britney Spears in minor traffic accident in L.A." LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Britney Spears triggered a minor accident on a freeway in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley on Saturday evening, but no one was injured and no tickets issued, a California Highway Patrol official said. The 26-year-old pop singer, whose career has been buried under an avalanche of personal and health problems, rear-ended a car in stop-and-go traffic after she failed to stop her Mercedes in time, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball. The rear-ended car, driven by a man identified as "J. Flint," in turn pushed forward into another car, the CHP collision report said. The driver of the third car observed no damage, and drove off, the CHP incident report said. CHP officers on the scene performed a sobriety test on Spears, which she passed. Spears is invariably trailed by a large posse of paparazzi while running her daily chores. Photographers were instantly on the scene. *** April 16, 2008: "Britney Spears Crash Victim Talk" Britney Spears caused a three-car collision on Saturday night while on her way home from a 30 minute drive with her bodyguard, she was caught applying make-up while navigating through busy Los Angeles traffic minutes before driving into the back of another car. The motorist she hit has revealed he saw her putting on her make-up behind the wheel. The unnamed driver says that he was admiring the white Mercedes behind him, and the woman putting on make-up while driving it - but didn't realize he was looking at Spears until she hit him. He also claims that Spears bodyguard, was apologetic about the crash, and as the two drivers exchanged insurance details, Britney told him she was on her way to dinner with her mother. *** April 10, 2008: "Britney Spears Donates To 'Idol Gives Back'" Britney Spears was so moved by American Idol’s “Idol Gives Back” last night that she reportedly donated $25, 000 to the cause. An inside source said she couldn't stop crying . The source told Life & Style, “She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie's permission. She used her Amex.” *** April 8, 2008: "Britney Spears To Promote Danish Furniture" Britney Spears' dad Jamie is reportedly brokering a deal for his daughter to start her own line of furniture, according to Page Six: Spies say Spears pere is in talks with Danish celebrity broker Claus Hjelmbak to "bring Danish accent pieces to the United States . . . Britney will be the face of the brand." The insider tells us that Hjelmbak and Jamie Spears have been working out the deal for more than two months. Hjelmbak and Britney met at the Scandinavian Style Mansion back in December 2007, when Britney was reportedly paid $1 million to celebrate her birthday at the event, hosted by Sharon Stone. Since he took over running Britney’s legal, medical and career affairs earlier this year, Jamie, has been working hard to not only keep his daughter on check, but to make sure her bank account stays fully loaded. *** April 8, 2008: "Britney Spears Secretly Plans $100 Million Comeback Tour" Britney Spears is desperate to get back on the road and put her problems past her. Word on the street is that she is in secret talks over a $100m comeback world tour. Reportedly, Brit has begun training for such concert at the Millennium Dance Complex. Spears’ record label BMG are even backing her up this time, because they are confident that she can restore her squeaky-clean image on the road. *** April 3, 2008: "Britney Spears And Larry Rudolph Reunite" Larry Rudolph, the one time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer. In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn't seen Britney in more than a year--until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever. "After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn't talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she's doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she's in a great place right now." As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, "People love her. They really love her. People understand what she's been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she'll get it together. And I think she'll have a huge career again. I think she's going to make the biggest comeback in history." *** April 2, 2008: "Britney Spears Needed Police Escort To Leave Tracey Ross Boutique!" Britney Spears is probably one of the most photographed women in the world, if not the most photographed. But during a recent outing the paparazzi presence was so overwhelming for Britney that she was reportedly forced to request a police escort just so she could leave a store safely. Apparently Britney was trying to leave the Tracey Ross boutique at Sunset Plaza when the craziness occurred. Britney was eventually escorted by a huge guy to her waiting white Cadillac Escalade SUV. *** April 1, 2008: "PETA Offers Spears Receptionist's Job" Inisisting they're dead serious - even though it's the day before April Fool's Day - animal rights organization PETA has offered fur-wearing Britney Spears a job. The president of PETA has written a letter to Spears inviting her to enter into a new relationship with the organization and come onboard as a "virtual receptionist." PETA says the decision to send the letter came in response to Spears' successful guest spot last week as a medical office receptionist on "How I Met Your Mother." "We might have criticized you in the past for contributing to the dog overpopulation crisis and wearing real fur, but perhaps now that your own crisis has abated, a new day calls for a new relationship, a new outlook, and a new understanding," PETA president Ingrid E. Newkirk said in the letter, dated March 27. "It could be for as little as an hour, and you would see - from the inside - why we are so concerned about issues like fur and homeless dogs and cats," Newkirk said. "As a 'thank you' for your willingness to learn and help, we would donate $1,000 to a children's charity." *** March 22, 2008: "Items from Britney’s Wardrobe For Sale!" It seems almost everybody wants a piece of Britney Spears, and at least six pieces are officially for sale. The auction is sponsored by CBS and 20th Century Fox Television. The online auction is to benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental organization. The week long auction begins Monday night, just after the episode featuring the pop star is set to air. *** March 22, 2008: "Britney Spears Family Want Her To Quit Los Angeles" Britney Spears’ family are reportedly planning to remove her from all of the bad influences in LA, and take her back to live in Louisiana. Jamie Spears will file a court request to secure the move, and get Britney away from the clubs, drugs, and cheating ex-lover Adnan Ghalib. A Spears family source said, “Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life. He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister. And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who’ve been using her.” Whether Jamie Spears succeeds in moving Britney from Los Angeles to Kentwood, Louisiana, remains to be seen, as does whether it is a good decision. *** March 20, 2008: "Britney Spears Banned From Nightclub" Britney Spears has been banned from a Hollywood nightclub because of the "media circus" that follows her. Vincent Laresca, the co-owner of West Hollywood hot spot Villa, has told the Toxic hitmaker she will be refused entry if she attempts to attend the club in the future. He tells the New York Times, "She came twice, but we don't want the media circus that would create." It is not the first time Spears has been refused entry - she was banned from West Hollywood's Hustler store after she stripped down to her underwear in November last year (07). *** March 17, 2008: "Britney Spears Makes Friends With Mel Gibson" Britney Spears has shared dinner with Mel Gibson Saturday. The tabloid princess and the actor who also made his own share of headlines in 2006 reportedly spent two hours dining and chatting at the Romanov Russian Restaurant & Lounge in Studio City. News. The disturbing correspondences have reportedly included one letter mentioning "how to bomb" and others full of threatening language and "weird gibberish," the Spears source said. The threats have become so severe, that the Spears camp is reportedly going to give the mail to law enforcement. "A lot of it was disturbing stalker kind of stuff," the source told E!. "But to be safe her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI." A rep for the LAPD told E! that a specific investigation has not been launched into the disturbing mail, but they, "have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months." The concerning letters and packages have reportedly been sent to multiple addresses linked to Spears. L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz also ordered the pop singer to pay Samuel D. Ingham III, her court-appointed attorney, $58,800 in fees. In addition, Goetz authorized the troubled star’s psychiatrist to hire two other doctors and pay them retainers totaling around $9,000. The order is effectively a seal of approval for her dad, Jamie Spears, who has been lauded by all parties involved for helping settle Britney the heck down. Jamie Spears has been overseeing his 26-year-old daughter’s well-being and her estimated $100 million fortune since February 1, when Goetz named him and his attorney, Andrew Wallet, temporary co-conservators. Apparently the attorney mounting the challenge against Jamie Spears didn’t have the authority or clearance to do so. U.S. District Judge Philip Gutierrez went so far as to rebuke Jon Eardley for claiming to represent the “Gimme More” singer. He ruled, “Mr. Eardley fails to explain why he can bring this claim for her in the first instance. He cannot. Mr. Eardley had no authority to remove the case from state court. He is neither a party nor a defendant. While he claims to be Ms. Spears’s attorney, the probate court ... found that she was incapable of retaining her own counsel.” *** February 26, 2008: "Britney Spears Saw Her Sons Again Yesterday, Then She Visited The Millennium Dance Studio" Britney Spears saw her sons again yesterday. Sean Preston and Jayden James were driven to her home by Kevin Federline’s bodyguard for a three hour visit. This is the second visitation in three days, Saturday was the first visit when Britney saw her children for the first time since 3rd January. Meanwhile Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, sought to end a civil rights challenge to his control over her affairs. Jamie’s attorneys filed another round of papers in federal court on Monday, urging a judge to quickly end a civil rights challenge to Jamie’s control of his daughter’s $100 million estate and keep the co-conservator ship case in state court. Jon Eardley, an attorney who claims to represent Britney after she reportedly hired him on 12th February, had been asked by U.S. District Court Judge Philip Gutierrez to file papers by 22nd February explaining the civil rights challenge. But on Friday Jon Eardley told the judge he needed more time to formally file. Jon Eardley also maintains that the conservator ship case in state court violates Britney’s constitutional rights. But in motion filed yesterday the conservator ship attorneys say Jon Eardley not only failed to meet the court’s filing deadline, but has also not proven that he qualifies as Britney’s attorney or addressed the most fundamental legal issues in the case. The conservator ship motion asks that the case be returned to Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, and that Jon Eardley must reimburse $43,000 in attorney fees. *** February 24, 2008: "Finally, Britney reunited with her sons..." Britney Spears was finally reunited with her two sons yesterday, almost two months since she last saw them. Britney spent about 3 hours with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, during a court-monitored visit at her home. The visitation began when Sean Preston and Jayden James were packed into a grey Dodge Viper truck by a bodyguard at Kevin Federline’s home in Tarzana, and driven to The Summit Britney’s Studio City home at around 9 am Saturday morning. Music career: Childhood and discovery: Britney Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana as a Southern Baptist. Her parents are James Parnell Spears, a building contractor, and Lynne Irene Bridges, a former grade school teacher. Spears’ brother Bryan works as a manager for the Spears family interests and her sister Jamie Lynn is an actress and singer. Her maternal grandmother Lillian Woolmore was an English war-bride who met Spears’ grandfather Barnett O'Field Bridges in England during World War II. Her paternal grandparents were June Austin Spears and Emma Jean Forbes. Spears was an accomplished gymnast, attending gymnastics classes until age nine and competing in state-level competitions. She performed in local dance revues and her local Baptist church choir. At age eight she auditioned for the Disney Channel series The New Mickey Mouse Club. Although she was considered too young to join the series at the time, a producer on the show introduced her to a New York City agent. Spears subsequently spent three summers at NYC's Professional Performing Arts School and also appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions, including 1991's Ruthless!. In 1992, she landed a spot on the popular television show Star Search. Though she won her first round in the competition, she ultimately lost. At age eleven, Spears returned to the Disney Channel for a spot on the New Mickey Mouse Club in Lakeland, Florida, and was accepted. Spears was featured on the show from 1993 to 1994, until she was thirteen. Other future celebrities on the show included fellow pop singer Christina Aguilera, 'N Sync members Justin Timberlake and Joshua Chasez, Felicity actress Keri Russell, and The Notebook star Ryan Gosling. After the show ended, Spears returned to Kentwood and entered high school for a year. In 1997, Spears briefly joined the all-female pop group Innosense. Later that same year, she decided to go solo. After recording a demo, she was signed by Jive Records. She began touring American venues for a series of concerts sponsored by American teen magazines, and eventually became an opening act for 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys. Product and endorsement: Spears’ success had made her notable in the music industry as well as popular culture. In early 2001, she caught the attention of Pepsi who gave Spears a multi-million dollar promotional deal which included numerous television commercials, point-of-purchase promotions and Internet ties between Spears and the company. Spears has had four books published including A Mother's Gift. She has also had seven DVDs including her 2005 reality series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, a doll, a video game, and participated in seven tours including The Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004. She has grossed over US$150 million from tour ticket sales and over $45 million in merchandise from her tours. Spears endorsed a fragrance, Curious, for which she earned a reported US$12 million. After one year of sales, the product netted more than US$100 million. Curious was named the best selling perfume of 2004. Following the success of "Curious", Spears released her next Elizabeth Arden fragrance, Fantasy, in September 2005. In April 2006, Spears launched Curious: In Control as a limited edition fragrance. 2006 also saw the release of another perfume: Midnight Fantasy. On August 8 2007 a promotional photo featuring Britney was released for her newest fragrance with Elizabeth Arden, Believe. Personal life: 2002–2004: In early 2002, Spears’ four-year relationship with Justin Timberlake ended. Speculation that Spears had been unfaithful began circulating due to Timberlake's 2002 song "Cry Me a River" and its subsequent music video. The song's music video showed an actress playing what could be construed as a Britney look-alike with certain physical features resembling Spears.
